Every year, around 87% of materials and textiles used to create clothing end up in landfills. Aside from that, the world produces 92 million tons of textile waste yearly. Due to this issue, avoiding further textile waste is a must. A sustainable alternative is to repurpose used or cut fabrics from previous projects.

In this outfit, garments were created with the use of scrap fabric from previous projects with the combination of applying various dyeing techniques such as Shibori dye techniques and ice dyeing.

For the top & bottoms, bleaching was done instead of the traditional dyeing. For the ties, leftover white cotton fabric was used, which were then dyed with synthetic dye.
